In this episode the TEFLologists spoke to blogger, author and presenter Sandy Millin about the recent IATEFL2016 conference that took place in Birmingham, UK earlier this month. Matthew and Rob spoke to Sandy over Skype and asked her to reflect on the conference themes, presentations that she saw, how her own presentation went, and what being an official blogger at the conference entailed.

Batia Laufer is a professor at the University of Haifa, where she researches numerous topics in applied linguistics with a focus on vocabulary acquisition. Matt sat down with Professor Laufer and asked some questions about her career in language teaching and applied linguistics, and her work on vocabulary acquisition.
